Rockies reinstate P De La Rosa from DL

07/09/2010 - Denver, CO (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Colorado Rockies reinstated pitcher Jorge De La Rosa from the 15-day disabled list in time to make his start against San Diego on Friday.

De La Rosa, who was placed on the DL on April 27, missed the last 65 games with a torn tendon in his left middle finger. He last pitched on April 25 and earned the win over Florida after giving up two runs on four hits with six strikeouts and three walks in five innings.

The 29-year-old is 3-1 with a 3.91 earned run average in four starts this season.

In a related move, the club optioned pitcher Esmil Rogers to Triple-A Colorado Springs. The righty was 1-2 with a 4.85 ERA in 13 appearances -- two starts -- in 29 2/3 innings this season.
